Willow Yoga provides an intimate, non-competitive environment to practice your hatha yoga. Our classes are kept small to provide you with high quality, individual attention. Postures can be modified to accommodate your needs and a guided relaxation will end each yoga session.

What's New

We hope everyone will have a safe and happy summer!! We have a few changes for the summer months so please read carefully - we'd hate for you to miss anything! Becci and I have been brainstroming lately (always a dangerous thing!), trying to find ways to save money in this never ending bad economy without raising our prices! You'll notice a few class changes and a few changes around the studio- we apologize in advance if these changes are not to your liking! Again, enjoy the summer - travel safe and try to keep up with your yoga practice - you'll be glad you did!!

Schedule Notes

New to Willow Yoga? Experience your first class for just $10. You can join any class at anytime. Stop in or Signup to let us know when you are coming.

  • The summer schedule is posted!
  • The studio will be closed on Monday mornings. Mitra will teach a Yoga 3 class on Fridays - not to mention her Sunrise Yoga classes (level 2 & 3) on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:00 - 7:00.
  • Lindsay will take over the Yoga 1 & 2 class on Monday nights at 6:15 - 7:15 while Becci advances with her students to a level 2 & 3 class at the same time. Becci's Yoga 1 class will continue to be offered at 7:30.
  • Rachel's Yoga 1 class on Saturdays will be discontinued for the summer. Our other Yoga 1 classes are Monday nights and Thursday nights..

Upcoming Holiday's.

  • No classes over the July 4th Weekend, July 2nd to 4th.

Reminder: Willow Yoga follows District 25's Bad Weather Policy. We also try to update the purple status block on every page if we are open or closed because of the weather.

Unlimited Summer Yoga $350 - What is it worth?

Every year we offer our unlimited Summer Yoga Package. While many of our regular clients take advantage of this, others are unaware of what a great deal it can be! If you have been wanting to up your yoga practice to 3X per week, you would pay only $8.00 per class! Think about it - unlimited 3 month yoga can be used at any time, not just the summer!! What a deal!!

Workshops

YOGA TO THE BEE GEES - If you still dance like you did back in the 80s then you MUST join us for Yoga to the Bee Gees on July 9th from 6:30 - 7:30! Wear your polyester and big hair and join us as we all get "Saturday Night Fever"!!!

Yoga Boot Camp Mini Session

The next session will begin July 20th and run for 4 weeks, until August 12. Jane will teach on Tuesdays and Becci will teach on Thursdays from 10:45 - 12:15. The class is limited to 6 people to ensure the personal training aspect of the class. Once a week is $100 and twice a week is $200. Advance sign up and payment are required.

Yoga Boot Camp is a great way to get in shape for the summer!! This class contains a vigorous workout combining dumbbells, stability balls, resistance bands and cardio steppers to create a unique combination of cardio, strength and flexibility training fused with yoga throughout!

Strike a Pose

We are holding our first "Strike a Pose" contest! While on vacation this summer, snap a photo and send it in - the person with the best looking pose in the most exotic locale will win one of Becci's coveted DVDs! Say "cheese"!!

Book Swap

Our bookshelf is filling up with great summer reads! Bring in your favorite paperbacks and take one that you've been dying to read! Books don't have to be returned - just pass them on to the next reader! Books on tape are welcome too!

Weight Loss Challenge

Join Willow Yoga's very own "Biggest Loser Challenge" !!

The WLC is an 8 week program meeting once each week to learn about proper nutrition and how to improve eating habits. Find out exactly how many caloies a day your body burns. Learn how to lose weight and keep it off. Live healthy with vim, vigor and vitality for the rest of your life! Topics include: protein, carbohydrates, water, digestion, vitamins, dining out, exercise, sugar, healthy oils and more! Because of all the helpful information given out, attendance at the weekly meetings is a key factor in ensuring success!

Weigh-ins are strictly confidential. Each person will receive personalized coaching. Prize money will be paid out by check at the end of the session! Previous contests ended with an average weight loss of over 19 pounds. Winnings range from $450 - $1000 depending on the number of participants! Space is limited so call and sign up today! The cost of this 8 week program is $45. Dates to be announced!

Girl Scout/Brownie Yoga 

Remind all the girl scout troop leaders that you know that we do "GIRL SCOUT YOGA" here at Willow Yoga.  We will teach the girls a few poses, tell them a little about ther philosophy of yoga and at the end, they will receive a yoga patch to wear on their sash and a certificate of achievement!  A fun way to earn a patch - for the girls and the troop leaders as well!! 

Yoga Philosophy 101

As we continue our study of the Eight Fold Path of Yoga, the 2nd limb is NIYAMA. Niyama refers to the personal disciplines. There are five of these. Saucha - cleanliness ( clean, pure thoughts as well as personal hygiene), Santosha - contentment (satisfaction with what we have), Tapas - great effort (never giving up), Svadhyaya - self study (getting to know yourself well) and Ishvara Pranidhana - faith in God (whatever faith you practice, believe in it with all your heart.) Again, following this eight fold path helps us to keep our bodies healthy while learning to control our minds. We become wiser and more compassionate.
